Aren't we cute?
Ha. He looks like he's trying to get away from me, but really, it's the piece of hair blowing up and getting in his face. After almost two months, there's finally a picture of us together--mostly because Grandma said, "If I can get pictures of the mud in your parents' yard, why can't I get pictures of my granddaughter and her boyfriend?!"
All of us
The whole family at the end of the first book sale for The Weekend to End Breast Cancer. Mom, Dad, Alida, Colin, Carl, Justin, Esther. This was our staff: the three of us girls, and the boys who were roped into helping because they didn't have a choice!
Hot babes!
Me, Mom, and Esther, at the end of the first weekend-long book sale. Somehow, it's rather appropriate for us to raise the money by selling books...
The disadvantages to being in a family full of short people
Carl and I try to hang the sign for the sale. Unfortunately, Justin and Colin weren't there at the time, and no one else in the family is tall enough to do it without breaking someone's shoulders.
Naptime!
Kayla fell asleep in my arms for the first time in a long time at Jake's birthday party. Too much excitement for everyone!
One room
Mom sorting books in one of the rooms of books in the bookstore for the fundraiser.
Slow day
Colin and Esther working hard or something during a slow time on Monday afternoon.
Long weekend
At the end of a long weekend of fundraising for the Weekend to End Breast Cancer. Everyone gets a little punchy after being around that much dust for too long.
In the green room
Some of the Easter cast and crew in the green room before opening night. Notice all the purple in the room; particularly, notice Colin's and my matching shirts. Totally inadvertent, I assure you.
Late nights
The last night of set-building, Scott and Heather get a little silly in the tomb.
