My little, remarkably well-stocked kitchen, and my microwave that looks like it's wearing Sally Field's Flying Nun hat. :) It's actually a serving dish, but it somehow ended up on the microwave.

My rack

So, when I was moving out of my place last winter, Colin was helping me (along with many other people), and this rack (which is actually a lid rack) was one of the last things to come out. As my dad was going inside to get it off the wall, Colin yelled in after him, "Don't forget your daughter's rack!!" Keep in mind, this was the first time Colin had met him and it was several weeks before we started dating. So now, my rack is an ongoing joke. And now, it's a very versatile rack.

Ugly red couch

The couch is really quite ugly. It's comfortable, though, and in good shape, so if we just get a black slipcover, it'll look much better in the apartment.

The little dining nook. We found the table and chairs (along with the coffee table and end table) on craigslist--yay for cheap furniture! The picture on the wall needs to be in a black frame so it doesn't get lost on the wall, but I'll have to get that later.
