T - age 2 years
Her grandma bought her the white hat for Easter and she loved it. Even when she got a newer one a couple years later she wouldn't give it up. She finally stopped wearing it when it was way too small. I think she still has it in her closet. She was so sweet at that age - and very stubborn.
T in her Easter dress, age 9
It was a beautiful dress, with sparkly glitter on it. It made her look entirely too grown up.
T - after band concert, age 11
With her trombone, my daughter was the only low instrument in her elementary school band this year, so it was very easy to hear her at the concert. I know she could have practiced more regularly than she did but she did work hard at her instrument and was pretty good for having only one year of instruction.
Family at cemetery, May 2008
My dad and kids looking at the gravestones of his parents.
Headstones
The headstones of my grandparents. My grandfather was very proud of the fact that he fought in World War I.
Blowing in the wind
At the next cemetery, which had large flags flying everywhere. This was the coldest, windiest Memorial Day weekend I remember.
