Braving the savage guardians I creep into the edge of the bog, praying the ground is not really quicksand. Finally, from this vantage, I point my camera at the great mosquito holy place. Knowing that the penalty for such sacrilege was death by exsanguination, my hardy companion and I beat a hasty retreat. Even the very ground rose up to halt our flight, with loose stones and tripping branches that we could swear had appeared since our passage in to the depths of the last great bastion of the Lost Mosquito Kingdom.
