Starbuck Leftside Collar
Early miniseries publicity photo. This detail shows the collar and the left shoulder well.
Starbuck seated facing front
This shows the best layers as well as how the watch plugs into the left cuff. You can see that the pre-flight checklist (lower right) is not fully attached, almost like a luggage tag cover that's just been tacked on. Here we also see that the viper wings on the suit are bigger. Are there two sets of wings? Or did they move them down for the series from the location from the promo for the miniseries?
Sharon and Starbuck seated
This shows that the strap for the holster that holds it onto the leg goes over the pocket on the right leg. Also shows the left arm pocket, and that clear pod thingy that's above the watch that I think is an O2 sensor.
Sharon and Starbuck, half suited
Here you can see the classic half suit pose. These publicity photos made alot of people (myself included) confused into thinking that there was a flight jacket and pants. The suit is held up by the hip belt and must not have the vest attached or we'd see that haning down.
Boomer and Hilo, daylight, left arm
Boy do these costumes look green in daylight. They look sorta greyish onboard ship.
Sharon seated
You can see the texture of the vest and shoulder pads quite well in this photo.
Sharon, right shoulder
Lest you think the vest snaps are actually fake and that the suit is all one piece, this photo shows that the shoulder pads are snapped on and that they don't lie perfectly flat as they would if they were sewn on.
Sharon daylight, three quarters length
You can see the detail on the lower panels of the vest and the belt buckle on this one.
Early promo shot
They aren't wearing their gun utility belts. Which allows you to see that the vests are held on with two buckles, the lower if which is just above the waist.
Sharon daylight right side
This shows the right side of the vest, pouches on the hip belt and the holster. Decent close-up of the gun as well.
Starbuckprofile long
Early promo shot show the left side of the uniform. Nice lipstick!
Hilo, Sharon, Daylight right side
Excellent shot of holster and the only photo I've seen that shows the way the vest pieces together on the side. Also shows the little right side pocket with some unidentified equipment in it.
Sharon, right rear, daylight
You can see the pouch in profile and see that it's a couple inches deep.
Starbuck/Apollo, pants
You can see the pants have fairly standard flight suit zippy pockets. A verticle on the left and a horizontal on the right.
Sharon Back, long shot
Hooray for this photo. Finally a good daylight shot of the back. Now you can really see that the rear panels are sewn on and the front of the vest snaps into place.
Hilo Daylight closeup of vest
Hooray for this photo. Finally we can see the detail on the buckles. Two on the vest and that the hip belt is separate. Great shot of texture details and the gun as well. Looks like the buckles are plastic but maybe been painted to look metal.
