Never let it be said that I am not girly. I too bought jewelry on this cruise. (Buying jewelry on cruises seems to be a "must do" for most women and even some men.) I've been wanting tri-color sapphire jewelry: yellow, green and blue sapphires in a unique metal setting, copper or something. But this would not only be expensive, it would have to be custom made. But Royal Caribbean sells amber, and tri-color amber, on their boats. I've never seen this stuff anywhere else (that's not to say no one else sells it, I've just never seen it). Plus I really wanted some brown/neutral/earth-tone jewelry (which matches almost everything I own). I will still wear my amethyst necklace on days that it matches better, but I will probably be wearing this necklace and bracelet the majority of the time. I love that the bracelet is faded/brushed silver, so it matches the chains I already wear.
