There was one fatality from the storm that I do regret. This is my ponderosa lemon tree. (A picture of a lemon from this tree can be seen elsewhere in this gallery, sitting next to a cherry tomato.) The lemon tree was always small, and yet somehow produced MASSIVE QUANTITIES of enormous fruit, at least twice a year. You can see the trunk is still intact, but I don't know if it will survive all that damage. There aren't even any leaves on it! (The oranges are from the other half dozen citrus trees I have in my yard.)
