Gloria
Gloria, the next-door-neighbor's cat. This picture was taken at night--she's really glossy black, and has gained a little weight. She's a real sweet kitty.
Wood grain
Ridiculous close-up of the wood grain on the column of the living room fireplace.
Somewhere on I-70 in Ohio
This, if you've never been this far west, is what the near Midwest looks like. 45 minutes west of Cleveland, and it all looks like this. Flat. Endless. Cornfields and soybeanfields. Just... flat.
Closer view of attic window
Closer view of the attic window. There's nothing to see up there, just empty space.
Barn stairway
Slightly blurry view of the stairs down to the lower level of the garage. They left us all those old cans of chemicals.
Tiles
A box of tiles, apparently in their original container. We haven't looked close enough to see what the tiles match in the house.
Puckerbrush
Charles trying to see through the mass of puckerbrush in the backyard.
Leaded glass window
Rather accidentally artistic photo of the leaded window in the music room. Anderson is still home to a glass company that makes and repairs stained and leaded glass windows. Note the bowing of the panels of this one; age does that.
The friendly neighborhood velociraptor
This fellow belongs to an auto body shop near the Anderson Speedway. He seems to have suffered a little vandalism, but he's still fierce.
