This is the back of Bill's photo of him taken inside the Signature room. The writing is my mother's. Even she lost count of her husbands, of which there were five in all.

Bill and Dorothy's Portrait

size: 1704x1020, 93k

Bill had a terrible time with this portrait, could not get the face right. He kept painting Dorothy's eyes as his mother's eyes. The face was a composite of Dorothy and Bill's mother, and try as he did again and again, he never reproduced my mother's face accurately on canvas, though he was a gifted portrait artist. Freud would have had a field day eith this one. I had this painting for years, the only one of his that I made off with when my mother passed away, one of the few things I acquired at the time. Dorothy left the entire bulk of her estate to Beverly. I received nothing. This painting met an untimely demise a few years ago.

Bill's Obituary

size: 648x621, 68k

This is Bill's obit as it appeared in USA Today. It is yellow and creased, and where it reads "studed" is really "studied." The crease obliterated the "i" and puts an entirely different spin on the sentence.
