At this point, she's fresh out of the womb and the neonatal people were just looking her over.

My baby!

This is my favourite picture of her! Here she's with me in the recovery room. I can't hold her yet, still being paralyzed, but they were just getting ready to weigh her. I don't usually think anything of babies, but for one that's less than an hour old, she sure is adorable and alert! I'm so in love with this picture.

Finally I get to hold my baby!

It took quite a while for the epidural block to wear off, so it was great when I finally got to hold her!

Would you believe that the biggest part of her umbilical cord fell off just before her bath? She loves her bath, but we have to make sure we get the right temperature. She loves looking in the mirror, and this picture was taken through the mirror.
