First ever (pathetic) Bento

Bento # 2

From left to right, Top to bottom: Chili Cheese Tops (Poppers) from McD, scrambled egg with leek and black sesame. Bean noodles with nori hearts, rice with nori pattern, soy and sugar snap peas.

Bento # 3

Left to right, clockwise: Stir-fry veggies and turkey in sweet-and-sour sauce. Rice onigiri with furikake, cucumber slices, cherry tomatoes and a quail egg decorated with black sesame seeds and a tiny bit of carrot. Broccoli as fillers.

Bento # 4, Totoro

We saw My Neighbour Totoro today. And I was inspired. Broccoli "trees", fried egg chips for the brown parts, rice with shrimps, quail eggs with nori pupils as eyes. Bits of cucumber peel as "grass". Fish-shaped bottle with soy sauce.

Got my first real Bento box today. NBC themed (but too small regrettable to be of any real use)

Bento # 5, inside

I had to fill it to see if it was worth anything. Stir-fry veggies with tofu. Broccoli. Rice with a nori-skull and cocktail sausages for the hand.

Bento # 6. Starry.

This one is ... starring... from left to right, clockwise: flower made of sugar snap peas, carrot and cheese. Bean noodle face. Star-shaped (at heast it was supposed to be star shaped) egg with a cheese star. Star shaped onigiri with egg-furikake. Another rice-with-cheese star. Broccoli for fillers.

Bento #7

Still playing with shapers. Top left: carrot shavings, cooked with oyster sayce. Cheese star on top. Under it a heart shaped egg with a cheese heart to match. Rice heart with sesame salt, carrot stars with cheese star, rice star with cheese star, small rice star with egg-furikake. Broccoli.

Bento # 8

Eggs and more eggs. They were "use by NOW". Rabbit-shaped egg. Small tomatoes. Quail eggs with little faces (they're hard to see but they're there nontherless). Star shaped carrots, chicken McNuggets from McD. Bits of plum and rice onigiri.

Bento # 9

Carrot-stars and cheese stars. Cod-roe rabbit. Brocccoli, onigiri with ginger and nori hearts. An apple and banana stars.

Bento # 10

Kid got her first real bento box today.
Left: Carrot hearts, cracker fishies, tuna. Little box with mayo for the tuna. Apple-and banana stars. 3 rice onigiri with vuter nori faces. cherry tomatoes.

Bento # 11

Cod roe teddy and rabbit. Bear-shaped (sorta) egg. Onigiri with ginger and furikake, all adorned with nori-smilies. Banana with stamped in hearts, checkerboard apple, pretsels and spicy nuts. *NOTE TO SELF* Do not pack pretzels and banana. Banana-flavoured pretzels are ... yuck.

Bento # 12

pear and banana hearts with lemon juice and strawberry flavored icingsugar. Spinach noodles with pesto and rabbit-shaped egg. Checken McNuggets, broccoli. Cherry tomato. Sweet and sour sauce from McD for the nuggets.

Bento # 13

Broccoli, steamed salmon with soy, sesame oil and sesame salt. Quail eggs with little faces, cherry tomato. Cucumber with cream cheese in the heart-shaped hole. Rice. Sugar snap peas and radish for the flower. Mixed apples and pears with lemon and strawberry icing sugar.

Bento # 14

Banana hearts and checkerboard apple. Mine cream bisquits. Sugar snap peas, steamed salmon and a bit of radish cut like the Danish flag. Hello Kitty-shaped rice and Hello Kitty shaped egg, both with radish and nori. Broccoli
