Could this photo get any duller?

Westerly view off the Sundial Bridge in lovely Redding, CA.

It was almost 1:00 exactly! How did I know? Because the shadow of the Sundial Bridge told me so! Who knew they figured for daylight saving time when they made the thing?!

WTF?

Crazy shaped bush things in one of the gardens by the Sundial Bridge. I kept thinking they were going to go all anime on me (ie the angry spirit of the abused shrubs was going to arise and attack me. No, I don't watch too much anime.)

Allen Telescope Array (those small white things!)

This was about the best picture I could get of the Allen Telescope Array in Hat Creek, CA (just a bit north of Lassen Park). We got there after the gates were locked, so we didn't actually get the see the 30 or so dishes looking for extraterrestrial signals.

Mt. Lassen covered in snow!

I'm really going to have to learn how use my camera better. This is the north side of Mt. Lassen. A couple years ago Jessica and I climbed this thing. Of course, it didn't have snow when we did that!
