I believe they're still moving desks into the top-floor study area. That's what the little stumps in the ground must be for. In the meantime, the armchairs all seem to share a certain soporofic quality.

The looong hallway with the browsing shelf is a little weird -- apparently this is what the architects originally had in mind for reading space, but luckily they managed to find spaces for actual, usable desks.
